Who I am

Born in Turin, Samantha Bertolotto began following her passions straight away: making cinema, capturing the world in her own way and telling stories, dreams and visions through Super8 films.

Her passion for film began in Paris in 1997, in 2000 she moved to New York where she had various experiences that shaped her and allowed her to specialize in the field of photography and cinematography. Assistant director, assistant to the photographer Philippe Bachelier, and then to the New York documentary director Jeffrey Perkins, she films the videography of the documentary on the painter Sam Francis, Photographer for the Custo Barcelona advertising campaign and videomaker for several fashion videos. In 2003 his first line of "conceptotto" dishes were present at the official Palme d'Or lunches of the Cannes film festival for three editions.

Today her ceramic studio is located at the Canalis Castle in Cumiana, a few km from Torino and with her husband Mario she lives between Italy and Brazil.
